Cynthia was born on May 9, 1977 to James and Betty Jean Crowley-Adams. Cynthia was christened Cynthia Crowley Adams because her mother wanted all of her descendants to carry the Crowley name. Cynthia likes the outdoors. She could always be found in a garden or at the park looking at flowers. On February 21, 1993, much to the dismay of her family, Cynthia gave birth to Steve Burrell, Jr. Cynthia's family wanted Cynthia and Steve to get married before the baby was born, but they did not. On July 18, 1995, Cynthia married Steve Burrell. On June 2, 1996, Cynthia gave birth to her second child, Champayne. Cynthia's husband, Steve, worked at a car production company. On September 23, 1998, a crane carrying a half-assembled car fell on Steve, killing him instantly. Cynthia had lost her husband. Cynthia tried to commit suicide, but she was saved by her next door neighbor and best friend. Cynthia and her children began counseling to help them deal with their loss. Now Cynthia and her family are the founders of a group called "Not Alone", a support group for wife and children who have lost the male in their lives. Not Alone receives support from the car production company that Steve worked for. Read Her Other Poetry |
